On the way to the island of Terschelling I leave everything behind in my mind. For two weeks I live in an environment consisting of nature, music, performance and art; the perfect combination where all elements of my work come together. The collaboration with writers, editors, illustrators, performers and other image makers gives so much energy that it gives a new impulse to my work every year. The strength of this period on the island is that the focus is only on your artistic work; this gives me new insights into which way I want to go with my work, to me it is a kind of annual evaluation.
